 - 2:30 pm EST

Williamsburg, VA 23185

Building upon the momentum established during our launch event at the Hive in Virginia Beach on September 17, 2024, and our national Change Forum at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, on October 23, 2024 our goal is to create a Military Thriving community that attracts and retains families in Hampton Roads. ZeroMils is returning to Hampton Roads and partnering with the College of William & Mary to co-host a one-day, in person event in collaboration with:

  • Local Government Leaders
  • Corporate and Nonprofit Partners
  • Regional Economic Development Centers
  • State and Local Chambers of Commerce
  • Veteran Employment Centers and other workforce development programs / initiatives
  • Institutions of Higher Ed w/ strong Veteran programs and entrepreneurial opportunities.

The Convening will take place between 9:30 am and 2:30pm EST. It will be broken into three parts beginning with a welcome and keynote followed by two panel discussions, a “working lunch” with potential for a second keynote speaker, an afternoon action-oriented breakout session identifying gaps, solutions and next steps; ending with a “remembrance walk” organized by wear blue; run to remember.  An optional social gathering with light refreshments will conclude the event.

About Us

ZeroMils is a term of both science and art, used in the military to describe a state of perfection that accounts for accuracy and effectiveness. Once attained, ZeroMils allows  you to achieve maximum impact on a target.

Our mission as social impact consultants to corporations and nonprofit organizations is to create Military Thriving cultures and communities. Our vision is to use our experiences to make our history every Veteran’s and Military Spouse’s future—with a focus on small business owners like us.

We are intentional in our efforts to serve alongside organizations and leaders who focus on what we know to be true:  that although Veterans and their families face unique challenges, the vast majority of us overcome them and thrive as a result of our service and not in spite of it.
